If age verification becomes mandatory

I will no longer be on the internet. I am not becoming complacent to this.

Hit them with the spongebob ID

This whole thing is atrocious

It's to keep people from coming together. 100%. Any politician or person that backs this sort of thing is not doing it for the children, but to further a surveillance state. I will not ever agree to this. I will put my music on CDs and give them away on the streets before I EVER agree to this.

@Jojo That’s literally what the Internet is for. One of if not the initial reason for it existing is so people can come together. No way I’m gonna throw away all the friends I’ve met for something dumb like this. I can’t.

I don't blame you for thinking that way. Get all of your friend's phone numbers while you can just in case.

I would go with usb-sticks or SD cards. Think it has more options for devices to play your music on.
But CDs are also still solid and trustworthy, so why not, or both!? ':D

CDs are much less expensive in bulk, that's the main reason.

Somehow Age Verification is almost implemented in some country now, but for now, using a death strander screenshot is working if you want

Newgrounds is not making me show my ID. That's good enough for me. Fuck every other website. They wanna lose me, they will.

At this point, there should be a revolution against this type of injustice.

We can't even get people on the same page that a pedophile shouldn't be president, so I don't know anymore. Lol

@Jojo Yes we can! People have differents ideas but always lean towards the same goal. After all, through human history, revolutions always wins and succedes at their goals.

I guess we'll see. I genuinely like being wrong about stuff like this.

Both CDs and/or mp3 storage/devices would be wise to keep backed up.
CDs are nice to have at home. Can pleasantly shelf them up too, or have them nicely ordered im folders/drawerrs and stuff.
And the USB/SD-card to just have with you on the go. So you don't need your.phone,.or your data or the cloud or whathave you. Just a lil thingy in your pocket,.containging entire libraries of your music or your reading or watching material, etc.

And both can quite easily be completely free too! Just dig through some e-waste places, or simply walk through random neighbourhoods, to see what stuff people throw out their doors.
Or just ask some people if they have some CDs or mp3-playing-nuggets, just lying around for decades, inside an old junk-drawer in a desk somewhere.

I'd say: Get Tor ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_(network)#Tor_Browser ). Age verification is not a universal constant to every country on the planet.

Also: Giving up on the the community and information the internet has to offer is exactly what [the kind of politicians we all hate] want: Cutting you off from independent news coverage, the ability to feed citizens all kinds of lies about minorities - so they can villainize them to earn more votes in the next elections... I mean: Look at North Korea...

(Sorry, I would write more, but I'm to tired. You're smart and compassionate. You'll get what I'm trying to say.)

You're not wrong. You raise a good point.
