Hey! In the immortal words-a Geddy Lee: "I will choose a path that's clear, I will choose FREEWILL!"

Good words to live by for sure, but the question persists: did they choose this path through freewill, or through the agency gained by experience? To insist that one has absolute freewill would imply that they would be able to fully predict the results of their present actions, or to be able to dictate the external forces around them down to the smallest bits of matter, and in a way they are doing that, but in unity with the said forces around them, not in opposition. Yes, like a single butterfly's wingbeat can change the winds of the entire world, so can your small choices made through gained agency make a big difference. One severely underestimates a warm smile & a friendly wave "hello" to a stranger who feels shunned. One may not know entirely what will happen from their actions, but they could most certainly expect far more positive outcomes from a positive output.

Through my gained agency over my time of experience through existence, I have done my best to localize myself to my world and to disregard news of things that are beyond my control. I simplified my own self to walking either a path of war, or a path of peace. I may not be able to help an entire village, but I can sure make the decision to help that person that is in front of me right now should they need it. That is what I mean by localizing myself. If more people realized they could do this, I personally feel the world would start being a much better place.

Well, said.
