It CAN be predicted, we're just never gonna be able to do so, at a truly full 100%.
Kinda like a mathematical graph, where you infinitely keep reducing the number, while never actually touching the zero-line.
Don't get me wrong, It's an okay sentiment, to not waste your time on things you can't change. But can also be a very desceptive trap to fall into, to make you give up on things and let yourself get walked over. (Gotta find that nuance somewhere)
Kinda like saying: 'go with the flow', sure. That makes for a better, smoother swimming experience. I also think you're just a downer by saying back: 'only dead fish go with the flow'.
But Salmon... They're gonna HAVE to make their way upstream, if they wanna do their thing and lay their eggs, ya know? With bears trying to snatch them the allong the way to boot!
A fair point. And to try not to do something is also trying to do something, so you just gotta exist honestly. Haha!
Also, that quote is pretty much what I lived by, the entirety of my 20s

I can relate entirely, dude.
i predict that the switch 2 will drop in value by the year 2027
