Lord, from your description, we are THOSE cat people haha. I'm a cat whisperer in the literal sense. I learned the sound that mother cats use to call their kittens and that works most of the time.
She MAY be interested in raw salmon before cooked salmon, but if you've found something that works for now, go with that.
If she's hiding, I'm almost certain not taking food is related to not adjusting to the environment just yet. Don't panic.
Also, I do hope you're not relegated to foot power and uber for very long. The former is so inconvenient, and the latter is expensive! I just got out of that in October
I am able to take the bus in the day, but my job is 2nd shift, and the bus doesn't run late at night.
As far as Lucy goes, I left out wet kibble for her yesterday, and she ate it, so progress is being made. She also seems to like the Lil Soups. She also appears to just be a light-eater though, as I gave her both wet kibble and a lil soup before going to sleep and they are both unfinished.
Since she was an outside cat before coming to me, I let her out to explore sometimes, so she could be eating during that time too.

Keep trying, you'll find something she'll eat. Maybe she's more of a junkie and might enjoy the carcinogenic crap, much like a lot of people enjoy Coke and Big Macs.
